Warung Matasa

Small, cheap warung with tasty local foods. Food is most likely nasi campur, you can pick your own dish and vegetables. They always give you big portion of rice, so if you don't eat rice that much, tell that when you order. If you're lucky, you might find Gulai Kepiting (Crabs in spicy coconut sauce) for an unbelievable price! I ate a big portion of rice, chicken in soy sauce, glass noodles and some beans with tempe (that's a lot of food!) for only 8,000 rp! Drown them all with a cold teh botol for 3,000 rp. Wrap.

Where to find? This is a bit hard. From Legian area, go to Jalan Dhyanapura, take the 2nd gang (alley) to the right, it's gonna be a bit bumpy, take a right, and there you go, the first warung you see is Warung Matasa. Next to that big laundry thing. (They don't have signage, so ask if you're still lost.)

Tekor Bali Cafe

One of by-the-beach convenient resto with wi-fi and plugs and an area of lesehan (sitting on the dock panel) is happen to be Tekor Bali Cafe, in Double Six beach, Seminyak. Not all tables is plug-provided, but some in the corners are. Food is Indonesian, Western (Burgers), Italian and Mexican. Tried the tuna tacos and I enjoyed it. Food price range is from 17,500 rp to 79,500 rp (for grills, steaks & stuff). My tuna taco was 42,500 rp. My next table tried the nasi campur for 26,500 rp and he said it's good. They also have breakfast set menu, starting from 14,500 rp. Drinks like coke is 9,500 rp, I had a pot of hot peppermint tea for 12,500 rp. Liquors are standard, 40,000 rp - 60,000 rp, while a bottle of wine starts from 140,000 rp. Fair play for tourists, or for a girl like me who is planning to go beaching in Double Six beach but coming too early and the sun is still too hot and she needs to do some facebook. ;)

Where to find? Go down Jalan Arjuna, make a left when you meet the Double Six beach or Cocoon, next to Mini Mart. You won't lost.
